Patron Day of the School in Budziszewko
On October 21, 2026, students in grades 1–8 of the Budziszewko Primary School celebrated the Day of their patron, Adam Mickiewicz. The occasion included a trip to the Adam Mickiewicz Museum in Śmiełów.
During the visit, the students had the opportunity to explore places associated with the great poet's stay, discover interesting facts about his life, and delve deeper into the history that shaped his work. Thanks to this unique lesson in history and literature, the students were able to better understand the school's patron saint and see that his legacy lives on.
At the conclusion of the trip, awards were presented for the calligraphy and spelling competition, in which the students were challenged to carefully and correctly transcribe a work by Adam Mickiewicz. The competition provided an excellent opportunity to develop beautiful handwriting skills and improve spelling.
It was a perfect opportunity to combine learning with historical exploration, and to spend time together outside the classroom. We believe that today's trip will leave the students with many fond memories and will further connect them with Adam Mickiewicz – a man whose work has left a lasting mark on the history of Polish literature.
